About Finnection
Your Trusted Partner in Global Tax, Accounting and Compliance.
UAE | CANADA | US | CROSS-BORDER
Who are we?
At Finnection, we believe financial advice should make things clearer, not more confusing. Cross border tax and accounting are rarely simple, and that is exactly why we take a connected and practical approach to every client we work with. Your tax strategy should reflect your full financial picture across borders, not just one country at a time. Whether you are relocating, investing internationally, setting up a business, or managing compliance in multiple regions, we help bring everything together in a way that feels structured, sensible and manageable.
Cross border planning is a big part of what we do, but it is not the only thing. We also work closely with local businesses and professionals across the UAE, Canada and the US, delivering reliable support in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing and compliance. For small businesses, we offer monthly retainer support that brings key financial functions into one place. For growing companies, we provide shared CFO services with a stronger focus on planning, reporting, cash flow, budgeting and financial oversight, so leadership teams can move with more clarity and control.
With operations across Canada, the US and the UAE, headquarters in Dubai and regional support in Markham, Ontario, Finnection is built for modern businesses, expats, entrepreneurs and growing companies that need financial guidance across more than one jurisdiction. We understand how quickly things can become messy when advice is split across different providers and different countries. That is where our model helps. We connect the details, align the strategy and help clients move forward with more confidence.
Finnection is led by Aamir Jewani, EA, a cross border tax specialist with deep expertise in Canadian, US and UAE taxation. As an IRS Enrolled Agent, he is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS in audits, appeals and collections. He is also an authorized e filer with both the CRA and IRS, allowing him to manage eligible Canadian and US returns directly on behalf of clients.
Aamir’s experience is built on a strong understanding of the Income Tax Act Canada, US Internal Revenue Code, UAE Corporate Tax Law, OECD guidelines and international tax treaties. His work spans expatriate tax planning, departure tax, residency analysis, foreign investment reporting, cross border structuring, transfer pricing, global mobility advisory and multi jurisdiction financial oversight.
He is also a recognized voice in the finance and tax space, and has appeared as a guest on podcasts hosted by leading finance influencers, where he shares practical insight on cross border taxation, foreign investment, UAE corporate tax and the Canadian and US tax landscape. One thing clients value a lot is his ability to explain difficult tax matters in a way that feels direct, grounded and useful.
In recognition of his technical depth and industry leadership, Aamir was named in 2024 as one of the Top 50 International ProAdvisors by Insightful Accountant USA, an award that highlights excellence among global accounting professionals.
Finnection exists for a world that no longer runs within one border. Your tax and financial strategy should reflect that reality. With integrated support, practical advice and deep cross border expertise, we help you stay compliant, tax efficient and ready for what comes next.
